The Faces of Mexico project seeks to bring together a diverse group of talented artists to create a series of artistic vessels inspired by the varied cultural landscape of the Mexican diaspora. These vessels are to be expressions of identity, culture, and art, with each artist creating one or more unique pieces that contribute to a collective exploration of the "face" of Mexico in its many forms—abstract, literal, or otherwise.

The intention is to create expressive, original art pieces that transcend mere commercial intent. We are committed to producing works that tell meaningful stories, showcasing the depth and richness of Mexican and Latin American artistry and craftsmanship. Part of the intent behind this project is to elevate Latin American and Mexican design as collectible, high-quality art forms that deserve a place alongside the world’s most respected art movements. This collection will be exhibited at a gallery in New York City (pending final arrangements) and sold via More Wow’s platform.

We invite Mexican artists, Mexican immigrants, people of Mexican descent living in other countries, or artists who have been influenced by their time in Mexico to submit their work for consideration. Artists are welcome to apply regardless of their location, as long as their work aligns with the project’s goals of cultural expression and artistry.

Participating artists are expected to create unique, original works, such as vessels, that convey the concept of a "face" through the medium of their choice.

3. Sponsorship and Promotional Responsibilities

We are actively seeking sponsorship to cover any administrative costs and to support the exhibition. This includes financial assistance for partner payments, promotion of the project, and shipment of art to both domestic and international locations for exhibition.

Artists are expected to collaborate with More Wow on promoting the Faces of Mexico project. This includes engaging in interviews, social media promotion, and other efforts to build buzz around the collection and its upcoming exhibition.

All marketing and PR efforts will be handled by More Wow, including professional photography and targeted outreach to major publications. Artists will be given visibility in the process and have the opportunity to showcase their involvement in the project.

4. Exhibition Details

  • Location: The Faces of Mexico series will be exhibited in a prominent New York City gallery (pending acceptance and arrangements).
  • Date: The exhibition’s timeline is dependent on gallery availability and other logistics, and specific dates will be confirmed once the gallery is secured.

  • Online Sales: All online sales (US and International customers only) will be processed by More Wow. The website MoreWow.design will serve as the primary platform for purchasing the pieces from the Faces of Mexico series. Sales in the US or to US customers will be handled through More Wow, ensuring that international customers can access the collection.
  • Mexican Sales:  Artists are permitted to promote their products and product catalog on their own websites and through their own channels and can independently sell art from Faces of Mexico to Mexican-based residential clients directly. ‍
  • Artist Compensation: Artists are free to price their pieces for their local markets and will be compensated accordingly for local sales. For any international sales, including those in the US, More Wow will handle the transaction process, and artists will receive compensation accordingly.

6. Artist Rights and Sales

  • Rights to Unsold Pieces: Artists retain the rights to unsold pieces following any physical exhibition.
  • Sales and Compensation: Artists are responsible for pricing their work for their local markets and for receiving compensation from any local sales.
  • International Sales: More Wow will handle all international sales, including those in the US. Artists based outside of Mexico (i.e., non-Mexican residents) will have all online sales handled by More Wow. Any sales to international customers, including those in the US, will be processed by More Wow, and all transactions will reference the project name, artist, and piece.
